Welcome to my new bridal blog. My name is Liz and I am currently starting to plan my September 2012 wedding. I have so many ideas to share and I thought why keep them to myself?
My fiance and I will be getting married across the country in NYC which posses a lot of challenges in planning and as someone who loves to plan and is very detail oriented that is a difficult task to accept.
The result, I have decided to undertake a number of DIY projects for our upcoming wedding that will make our day very true to us and our personalitities.
I also wanted to take on a number of these tasks because between both our families we realized our guest list was already very large and we would be very limited on the number of friends we were going to be able to invite even though the wedding is going to be a decent size. With that in mind, I wanted to take on activities that would save us money since NYC weddings are never cheap, no matter what you try to do. ;)
Some ideas I am already mulling around in my head that you can look forward to reading more about in the future are: a photobooth complete with props, custom bags for my bridesmaids complete with all their week of necessities (a survial kit of sorts), a guest book picture frame, invitation suites, rehersal dinner invitations, table numbers, luggage tag favors that double as table place cards, thank you tags, beer cap cufflings and more!
Get excited cause I know I am. I will post pictures of each project as I complete them as well as as much information as possible about where I purchased materials from.
I will also post inspiration and ideas from other brides and weddings here as well as other fun news. And let's be honest, I am always open to new ideas and suggestions! Trust me just search Etsy for a while, it will give you great inspriation if you are crafty at all ;)
